Bannister Lake is a software development company focused on graphics and data solutions for the broadcast industry. We have been around for over 25 years providing solutions to broadcasters around the world. Our customers include large broadcasters like TSN, Sportsnet, Global, TVA, CBC and CityTV. We provide tickers, scorebugs, branding and custom software for these broadcasters with sophisticated database/web-based solutions for managing the data and graphics.

Our long-standing tradition is for everyone to work from home and enlist as a contractor where the core team shares all earnings annually through a bonus system. This is a loosely defined co-op structure where a default income is defined and bonuses are based on sales.

Job Description

We are looking for a graphics and web developer responsible for development, maintenance and management of our html5 rendering solution. This includes a designer application which creates scenes for integration with our Chameleon product. The ideal candidate has an interest in rendering broadcast-quality graphics and text while setting the direction for our graphics evolution.

Working with our team of developers, graphics designers and integrators, the applicant should be dedicated to assisting our team create an advanced solution for our customers based on our existing database/web/data/scheduling design. A great deal of independence will be allotted to an applicant with a vision for our future.
